PADI® Checkout Dives for Open Water Diver Course
Earn your PADI® Open Water Diver Certification!
Availability: Contact us for booking information
Upon successful completion of your class, pool, and eLearning, you will need to complete four open water checkout dives to earn your certification. Dives will take place over the course of two days. You will complete two dives each day.
Dive & Glide Scuba will provide all gear needed for diving except for personal dive gear, which is your mask, snorkel, boots, fins, and wetsuit. It is recommended students purchase their own wetsuits for open water dives and future diving activities. For those students who do not wish to purchase a wetsuit, rentals are available at a 50% discount for Open Water Checkout Dives.
Dive & Glide Scuba does take referral students who have the proper Universal Referral paperwork to prove completion of their confined water training with a previous instructor or training facility.
Students must attend both days of diving to complete all skill reviews for their certification.
ADVANCED REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED at least one week prior to the first class date. Medical forms and waivers must be completed prior to participation. Based on the answers you provide on your medical information form, you may be required to obtain physician approval to dive.
