CHOOSE YOUR NEXT STEP

What kind of diver do you want to become?

Choose a path below. Each one shows the training that can help you get there—without searching through dozens of unrelated classes.

Select a course name to view just that training, or choose Browse Upcoming Classes to view all courses in that training path. If none are currently scheduled, use the calendar request link to ask for a new class or to be notified when one is added. The Course Catalog explains agency choices, prerequisites, prices and equipment requirements.

CONFIDENCE FIRST. SKILLS THAT LAST.

Mastery-based training, at your pace

Continuing education should build skills you can use with confidence, not just add another certification card. At Dive & Glide Scuba, our instructors help you practice and demonstrate each required skill to the applicable training standard before moving forward.

Need more pool practice? For courses with scheduled instructor-led pool sessions, we include up to one additional instructor-led pool session for each originally scheduled pool session when needed to master course skills. For example, a course with three scheduled pool sessions allows up to three additional sessions at no extra charge. After that, additional training may be arranged with a $25 pool-entry fee per three-hour session, subject to instructor and facility availability.

Certification requires meeting all agency and course performance requirements. Additional sessions are provided when needed, not as a substitute for those requirements.

QUESTIONS ABOUT TRAINING?

Let's make your next step simple.

I've been out of the water a while. Where should I start?

A Scuba Refresher or Skills Update is often a good way to rebuild comfort before taking a new specialty course or going on a trip.

Do I need to take classes in a certain order?

Not necessarily. Your choices depend on your existing certification, experience, goals, and each course's prerequisites. Our instructors can help you choose an appropriate progression.

Can I take training with a different certification agency?

Many courses accept equivalent certifications from other recognized agencies, subject to the requirements of the course and agency. Check the current Course Catalog for available NAUI, PADI, SDI, and SSI options.

What if I need extra time to master a skill?

Our training is mastery-based: you progress by demonstrating the required skills, not simply by completing the scheduled hours. If your course includes instructor-led pool sessions, you may receive up to one additional instructor-led pool session for each originally scheduled pool session at no extra charge when needed. For example, three scheduled pool sessions allow up to three additional sessions. If more training is needed after that, the pool-entry fee is $25 per three-hour session, subject to scheduling and availability. All certification standards still apply.

Can the Gear Freedom Plan help me purchase equipment for my next course?

Yes. Qualifying equipment packages of $500 or more before discounts can use our Gear Freedom Plan: 30% down, 0% interest, and your choice of 3, 4, 5, or 6 monthly payments. Eligible course students also receive their 10% equipment discount, and qualifying purchases earn 5% DG Doubloons account credit. See the full plan details.

Where can I find pricing, equipment requirements, and registration dates?

Find course-specific requirements and pricing in the Course Catalog, and check the live training calendar for available dates and online registration.
