Enrolled Students Save 10% on Qualifying Gear
Your existing Dive & Glide Scuba student equipment discount applies to qualifying purchases through the Gear Freedom Plan, too. We apply eligible savings before calculating your 30% down payment and monthly installments. Your actual quote will identify qualifying items. The Gear Freedom Plan requires a package value of at least $500 before discounts.

Can I use my gear before I've paid it off?
Yes, during approved training sessions, subject to the signed program agreement. Equipment remains stored at Dive & Glide Scuba between sessions until the package is fully paid.
Is a gear bag required?
Yes. A gear bag that fits the complete package must be included in your purchase so your equipment can be identified, stored, and kept separate from other customers' gear. Equipment is dried and cared for appropriately before storage.
Do I still get the 10% student discount?
Yes. Enrolled students receive 10% off qualifying course equipment, including qualifying purchases made through this payment plan.
Do I earn DG Doubloons loyalty rewards, too?
Yes! Qualifying Gear Freedom Plan purchases earn 5% back as DG Doubloons loyalty credit on your Dive & Glide Scuba account, in addition to the applicable 10% student equipment discount. Credits expire 60 days after they are earned and are subject to the loyalty program terms.
Can I choose 3, 4, 5, or 6 months?
Yes. Choose a proposed repayment term with our team when building your package. The final payment schedule is confirmed in your written agreement.
Is there a minimum equipment package amount?
Yes. Your selected gear package must have a value of at least $500 before applicable student discounts to qualify for the Gear Freedom Plan.
What if a piece of gear doesn't work out for me?
We want you to be comfortable and confident with your equipment! Within 60 days, you may work with our team to exchange a piece of gear from your package for a suitable alternative. We'll adjust your remaining payment plan to reflect any difference in equipment price, and you won't lose money to a restocking fee. Exchange eligibility, equipment condition, and any applicable safety or manufacturer requirements will be reviewed with you.
Can I pay off my package early?
Yes. You may pay off the balance early with no early-payoff penalty.
What if a payment is late?
Any applicable late fee, grace period, payment handling, cancellation, and other obligations will be described in your signed agreement. Ask our team about these details before enrolling.
