Are seminars free?
Yes. Avelo information seminars and planned Avelo events are free to attend.
What Avelo Courses are available?
Avelo Essentials (formerly known as "RAD", Recreational Avelo Diver) is for already certified Open Water Divers to learn how to dive the Avelo System.
Avelo Divers (coming soon, September 2026) is for brand new divers to begin their diving adventures on the Avelo System.
Is my course fee refundable?
If you need to cancel your Avelo Course for any reason, and do so more than 48 hours in advance of your class start date/time, your course fee training fee is refundable, excluding the eLearning fee of $250 (if eLearning has already been activated).
Can new divers register?
Yes. A dive program for new, beginning divers, Avelo Diver, is coming soon (September 2026).

Can I use Avelo without training?
No. Divers should not use Avelo equipment without completing proper Avelo training.
