This combo course includes Open Water Diver, Open Water Dive Checkout, Nitrox, and Advanced Scuba Diver Certifications; AND, gives you a 10% discount for enrolling in all four classes together.

NAUI® OPEN WATER DIVER (CLASS & POOL)

This is the NAUI® entry-level certification course where you will learn the fundamental knowledge and skills to safely dive in open water.

This portion of the course includes:

• 3 Pool Sessions.
• 1 to 2 Classroom Sessions.
• eLearning Online (additional fees apply; see course dates "AddOn Details").
• Use of a full set of scuba gear (excluding mask, snorkel, fins, boots, and wetsuit).

NAUI® OPEN WATER DIVER (CHECKOUT DIVES)

Dives will take place over two days. You will complete two dives each day. Dive & Glide Scuba will provide all gear needed for diving except for personal dive gear, which is your mask, snorkel, boots, fins, and wetsuit. It is recommended students purchase a wetsuit for open water dives and future diving activities.  For those students who do not wish to purchase a wetsuit, rentals are available at a 50% discount for Open Water Checkout Dives.

This portion of the course includes:

• 4 Open Water Checkout Dives to complete certification and obtain your Open Water Diver Card.
• Use of a full set of scuba gear (excluding mask, snorkel, fins, boots, and wetsuit).

NAUI® NITROX DIVER

You will learn how to choose the proper blend of Nitrox for your dive profile, determine maximum depth limits for your Nitrox mixture, analyze your breathing mixture, and plan and safely execute each dive. Your instructor will teach you about the physiology of oxygen and nitrogen; advantages, disadvantages, and risks of nitrox; oxygen toxicity; hazards and precautions of handling oxygen; the concept of Equivalent Air Depth; use of EANx with standard Air Dive Tables; common gas mixing procedures; and more.

This portion of the course includes:

• eLearning online.
• One classroom session with your scuba instructor.
• Two open water dives to complete certification and obtain your Nitrox Diver Card.
• Use of two Nitrox filled tanks.

Use of diving gear is not included with this portion of the course.

• Use of two Nitrox filled tanks is the only dive equipment provided for this portion of the course.
• If you do not have gear, your instructor will assist you in choosing the proper gear for your training and future diving adventures during your class session.
• Dive gear needed for this course: regulator, octo/safe second, buoyancy compensator, dive computer/gauges, 7mm wetsuit, hood, gloves, mask, snorkel, fins, boots, and weights.
• If you'd prefer to rent gear for training dives, you may do so at a 50% discount off regular rental rates.  Advanced registration for use of rental gear is required.

NAUI® ADVANCED SCUBA DIVER

Learn about specialties and diving activities of interest to you while developing your confidence and skill as a diver exploring our underwater world. During training, you'll complete a minimum of six open-water dives, including three separate dives for navigation, night or low visibility diving, and deep diving (130 feet), plus three additional dives.

This portion of the course includes:

• eLearning online
• Two classroom sessions with your scuba instructor
• One pool session (if deemed necessary by your instructor)
• Six open water dives to complete certification and obtain your Advanced Scuba Diver Card

Dives include:

• Navigation (required dive)
• Shore diving
• Search and recovery
• Hunting and collection
• Deep diving (required dive)
• Night and limited visibility (required dive)

Use of diving gear is not included with this portion of the course.

• If you do not have gear, your instructor will assist you in choosing the proper gear for your training and future diving adventures during your class session.
• Dive gear needed for this course: regulator, octo/safe second, buoyancy compensator, dive computer/gauges, compass, 7mm wetsuit, hood, gloves, mask, snorkel, fins, boots, flashlight, surface marker buoy, tool (dive knife), tanks, and weights.
• If you'd prefer to rent gear for training dives, you may do so at a 50% discount off regular rental rates.  Advanced registration for use of rental gear is required.

Important Details for All Portions of this Combo Course

For student safety and enjoyment:

• Our course size is limited to 6 students whenever possible. 
• Ages 10+ are invited to attend.
• Divers must be in good physical condition to enroll.

Registration forms and waivers must be completed to participate.

•  If you register online, after payment, a link to the form will automatically arrive in your email inbox.

All students must have their own mask, snorkel, boots, and fins; and for Nitrox and Advanced Scuba Diver portions of the course must have their own dive gear, or arrange for use of rental gear.

• For health and safety reasons, wetsuits are not provided for pool sessions and open water checkout dives. It is highly recommended each student purchase their own wetsuits for the class.
• Your instructor will assist you in choosing the proper gear for your training and future diving adventures during your first class session, or assist you in completing arrangements for rental gear.
• You will earn 5% cash back credit on account (DG Doubloons Loyalty Program) by purchasing and rental needed gear items at Dive & Glide Scuba.

ADVANCED REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.  Medical forms and waivers must be completed before participation.  Based on the answers you provide on your medical information form, you may be required to obtain physician approval to dive.
