SSI® Scuba Skills Update
Dive skills may get rusty if you haven't used them in a while. With the SSI® Scuba Skills Update, we'll get you back in the water and prepared to dive.
This course includes:

Pool entry fee for 3 hours in the pool, instructor fees, and scuba knowledge review.

Use of a scuba tank and weights, if needed.

NOTE: SSI® eLearning fees associated with this course are an additional fee.
For student safety and enjoyment:

Ages 10+ are invited to attend, and our course size is limited to 6 students whenever possible.

Advanced registration, and completion of class and medical forms, are required.

This course is taught by instructor Keith Hintz or instructor Marc Ellis. Keith is the co-owner of Dive & Glide Scuba. He has been teaching diving courses since 1989. In addition to being an NAUI instructor, he is also an SSI and SEI instructor. Marc has been an instructor since 1994 and has been teaching at Dive & Glide Scuba since 2022. In addition to training divers, he also heads up the organization of our dive club (Mid-Michigan Dive Adventures) meetings and events. Marc is bi-lingual (he speaks Spanish) and holds multiple diving instructor certifications as a PADI, SSI, and SDI instructor. To learn more about our staff members, visit our Dive Team page.
