Travel planning
Your flight itinerary must end on Little Cayman (LYB).
Airfare is not included. For most travelers, Grand Cayman is the connection point — not the final destination. Your travel arrangements must get you all the way to Little Cayman before the included resort transfer begins.
IMPORTANT — DO NOT END YOUR OUTBOUND ITINERARY AT GRAND CAYMAN.U.S. → Grand Cayman (GCM) → Little Cayman (LYB) The normal routing is to fly from the United States to Owen Roberts International Airport on Grand Cayman (GCM), then connect on Cayman Airways Express for the short inter-island flight to Little Cayman (LYB). If your airline reservation is ticketed all the way through to LYB, that is fine — simply verify that Little Cayman (LYB) is the final airport on your outbound itinerary.
The included Little Cayman Beach Resort transfer begins only after you land on Little Cayman. There is no included transportation from Grand Cayman to Little Cayman; the inter-island flight is part of your airfare and is the traveler's responsibility.

Travel with a valid passport and review current Cayman Islands entry requirements before departure. Requirements can change, so Dive & Glide Scuba will recheck them closer to travel.
Insurance is not included in your trip price. We strongly recommend reviewing appropriate dive-accident, trip-cancellation/interruption and travel-health coverage before making non-refundable travel purchases. Review your existing health coverage for treatment outside the United States as well.
The payment plan keeps your account moving steadily toward the final balance. The cancellation schedule is separate, so being 50% or 75% paid does not automatically mean that same percentage is non-refundable.

Booking after a payment milestone? The amount required for a new reservation increases to the milestone in effect on the date you book. Beginning January 8, 2027, new reservations must be paid to 25%; beginning May 10, 2027, to 50%; beginning September 10, 2027, to 75%; and beginning January 11, 2028, payment in full is required if space remains available. Previous payments count toward each milestone.

Cancellation percentages are based on your total selected trip package, including room category, diving, Nitrox and single-occupancy supplements when applicable. The payment schedule above does not determine the non-refundable percentage.
Through September 12, 2027Payments above the original $500 per-person deposit are 100% refundable. The original $500 deposit is non-refundable as cash and becomes credit toward another qualifying Dive & Glide Scuba group trip if you cancel.
September 13 – November 11, 202725% of your total selected trip package is non-refundable. Any amount paid above 25% is refundable. Only the original $500 deposit portion is eligible for future-trip credit.
November 12 – December 11, 202750% of your total selected trip package is non-refundable. Any amount paid above 50% is refundable. Only the original $500 deposit portion is eligible for future-trip credit.
December 12, 2027 – January 10, 202875% of your total selected trip package is non-refundable. Any amount paid above 75% is refundable. Only the original $500 deposit portion is eligible for future-trip credit.
Beginning January 11, 2028100% of the total selected trip package is non-refundable.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended. This trip becomes increasingly non-refundable beginning 180 days before departure. Coverage varies by policy; travelers are responsible for reviewing and selecting the protection appropriate for them.

Do I have to be a diver to join the trip?
No. The resort package is separate from the optional dive package, so non-diving companions are welcome.
Is diving included in the base trip price?
No. The optional 17-boat-dive package is $400 per person. Nitrox may be added for $170 for appropriately certified divers who select the dive package.
Where should my flight itinerary end?
Little Cayman (LYB) — not Grand Cayman (GCM). Airfare is not included. The usual routing is U.S. → Grand Cayman (GCM) → Cayman Airways Express → Little Cayman (LYB). Grand Cayman is normally your connection point. The included resort transfer begins only after you arrive at Little Cayman Airport (LYB). If you book a through-ticket, confirm that LYB — not GCM — is the final airport on your outbound itinerary.
Are the payment milestones the same as the non-refundable schedule?
No. The payment schedule determines how much should be paid toward your account by each milestone. The separate cancellation schedule determines how much is non-refundable if you cancel. Payments made above the applicable non-refundable amount are refunded according to the trip terms.

Trip Terms & Important Information: Prices are per person in U.S. dollars unless otherwise noted and are based on the occupancy shown. Group space, room inventory and specific room categories are limited and subject to availability. Specific room locations and bedding requests are requests only and cannot be guaranteed.
The initial amount required to reserve space is $500 per person. New reservations must be paid to 25% of the traveler's selected trip package beginning January 8, 2027; 50% beginning May 10, 2027; 75% beginning September 10, 2027; and 100% beginning January 11, 2028. Previous payments count toward each milestone. Payment milestones and cancellation penalties are separate.
For cancellations received through September 12, 2027, payments above the original $500 per-person deposit are refundable. The original $500 deposit is non-refundable as cash and becomes credit toward another qualifying Dive & Glide Scuba group trip if the traveler cancels. For cancellations received September 13 through November 11, 2027, 25% of the total selected trip package is non-refundable. For cancellations received November 12 through December 11, 2027, 50% is non-refundable. For cancellations received December 12, 2027 through January 10, 2028, 75% is non-refundable. Beginning January 11, 2028, the total selected trip package is 100% non-refundable. At percentage-based cancellation stages, only the original $500 deposit portion is eligible for future-trip credit; the remaining non-refundable amount is not converted to future-trip credit. Cancellation percentages include the original deposit and are not added on top of it.
Cancellation percentages are calculated using the traveler's total selected trip package, including applicable room category, diving, Nitrox and single-occupancy selections. Payments received above the applicable non-refundable amount will be refunded in accordance with these terms.
Airfare, including the usual Cayman Airways Express connection from Grand Cayman (GCM) to Little Cayman (LYB), is not included. Travelers are responsible for arranging air transportation all the way to Little Cayman (LYB); arriving on Grand Cayman does not complete the required travel to the resort. The included resort transfer is only between Little Cayman Airport (LYB) and Little Cayman Beach Resort. Diving unless selected, Nitrox unless selected, dive equipment or equipment rental, private divemaster services, dive gratuities, diving insurance, travel insurance, travel-health coverage, personal purchases, incidental charges and anything not specifically listed as included are not included. Diving and optional dive activities are subject to weather, sea conditions, diver certification and experience, operator requirements and dive-operator discretion. Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed. Unused or missed dives are subject to the dive operator's policies.
Airline schedules, baggage rules, resort services, dive schedules, transportation arrangements, government requirements and passport/entry requirements may change before departure. Travelers are responsible for maintaining proper travel documents and for reviewing insurance protection appropriate for their individual needs.
